Kainos Microschool provides a faith-integrated, personalized learning experience that honors each child’s dignity. In partnership with parents, we nurture children to explore their passions, love learning, and grow holistically—empowering them to thrive as compassionate, confident members of society.

Our Vision:
Our vision is to cultivate a community where every child’s potential is unlocked through personalized, engaging, and purposeful education fostering a love of life long learning and a foundation of faith.
Our Focus:

Our primary focus is on students ages 7-18 years old who require a personalized education. These students often struggle in conventional academic environments. They are students and families seeking the adaptability of a microschool to accommodate their unique needs. While we cater to students with varying learning abilities, we are not capable of supporting those with severe physical or learning challenges. Although Kainos Microschool is a Christian faith integrated microschool, we welcome children from diverse backgrounds and faiths.
Our Faith:

Faith is an important part of who we are at Kainos. At the same time, we recognize that faith—much like learning—is not always linear and can look different for each person. While our staff are all Christians, we come from a variety of theological backgrounds and perspectives. At the foundation of our approach to faith is the belief that there is room for everyone at the table, because Jesus first made room for us.
Our Meaning:
In the Bible, *kainos* is a Greek word meaning “new” in a transformative, unprecedented, or renewed sense. Unlike the term neos, which also means “new” but often implies something recent or young, kainos refers to something qualitatively new, fresh, or different from what has existed before.
Kainos is used in the New Testament to describe profound transformations, such as the "new covenant" (Luke 22:20), "new creation" in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the "new heaven and new earth" (Revelation 21:1). The term suggests renewal and restoration, emphasizing a shift toward a state of being that aligns with God’s original purpose and vision.
As I explored the possibility of opening a microschool, I began asking the Lord to help me shape a vision that would bring hope to students and their families. I imagined the ultimate outcomes I wanted for our students, families, and staff: a profound transformation. This vision grew into a hope that we could create something truly new for our students, our family, and our community. I envisioned a place where we could all shed past traumas, negative beliefs, and the loss of hope, finding instead a space where students, families, and staff could gain a new identity, skills, confidence, and restored hope in place of past academic, social, or spiritual challenges.
And this is how Kainos Microschool was born. It was born out of a desire to show students that they are worthy, possess dignity, were created with a purpose, and can succeed. It was born out of a desire to empower students and families to make choices that align with their values in a supportive environment. Above all, it was born from a desire to see lives restored and transformed.
As we begin this journey of transformation together, my greatest prayer is that your student and your family will experience the Lord’s goodness in the environment we create together here at Kainos.
Welcome to a new and transformative approach to education.
With Love,
